FX is seeing a Sr. Executive Assistant, Current Series to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Series & FX Productions. Responsibilities include coordinating and disseminating information and material pertaining to FX’s current series to internal and external partners, coordinating meetings and events, answering phones, and tending to the needs of covering execs. In addition, the Sr. Executive Assistant will support the Current Series department as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the EVP of Series & FX Productions including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and other administrative duties.
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, events, or any related communications that relates to current series, ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared and distributed.
Manage and disseminate current series information, reports, and materials across internal departments, productions, and studio partners.
Track and evaluate incoming submissions for potential consideration by the Current Series team, maintaining accurate records and communicating evaluations to supervisors.
Research and compile information on competitive programming and industry trends across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, through contacts in the entertainment community as well as a number of publications and internet sources.
Support the Current Series department, including providing coverage for other executives and administrative staff when needed.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, studio, network or production company with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, collaborative working style and the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, talent, and their representatives
Highly organized and resourceful, with strong attention to detail, the ability to anticipate needs, and proven success managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
Must be adaptable and dependable, with a strong ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities and business demands
Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Strong interest in FX Programming
Ability to work overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred
Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
Undergraduate degree
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,300 to $87,500 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
