Disney Entertainment encompasses global media and content businesses, including film studios, television divisions, and streaming platforms. For the Disney Studio, Corporate, and Streaming insights team, the entertainment consumer is at the heart of everything we do. We are charged with finding the best methods to understand our customers’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors across a constantly evolving entertainment marketplace.

As the Research & Analytics Intern, you’ll rotate between the Brand Digital Analytics and Disney+ Brand & Bundle teams, gaining hands-on experience in data analytics, market research, and strategic insights. You’ll work on a major analytical project, contribute to research on movies and TV series, and help inform decisions across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Disney+ brands.

Ready to play a meaningful role in consumer insights and analysis? Join our team as a Research & Analytics Intern! If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst of Digital Analytics.

This internship is a full-time commitment located in the Burbank, CA area from May/June 2026-August/September 2026.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and present an analytical project, synthesizing data from multiple teams to form a cohesive narrative

  • Contribute to strategic work that focuses on major Disney brands and Disney+ subscribers

  • Provide key insights that inform business decisions across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Disney+

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Data-driven with strong enthusiasm, attention to detail, and desire to learn

  • Passionate about film/television, social media, and/or entertainment marketing

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Drive (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to make presentations with clear and concise takeaways

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience related to analytics, market research, or the entertainment industry

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or other related major

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • This internship is a full-time commitment located in the Burbank, CA area from May/June 2026-August/September 2026.

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Must be able to work 40 hrs per week, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the internship 

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank/Glendale, CA area 

  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
