Talent and Growth Lead (Executive Experiences)
The Talent & Growth Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for defining and delivering enterprise wide talent strategies—spanning talent management, leadership development, executive experiences, skills foundations, performance, potential, and succession planning. The team designs integrated, data driven solutions that help the organization know, grow, and prepare its talent, while enabling consistent, scalable practices across all segments.
As a Talent and Growth Lead, you’ll be a key partner in creating the future of our executive leadership experiences – designing and delivering cohort based and eventized experiences aligned with Disney's leadership expectations and values.
Under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, you will support the creation and delivery of innovative experiences, own individual workstreams, solve problems that address needs across the Enterprise, and bring a depth and breadth of experience and research to solutions.
This role is an opportunity for someone who works well in a white space - taking ideas and pivoting to execution.
In this role, you’ll work in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional partners to ensure the global alignment of work while managing budgets, timelines, and logistics to deliver seamless and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design elevated experience grounded in executive leader expectations, emerging leader skills, and Disney values.
- Lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion, responsible for all aspects of project management including budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure seamless execution and an elevated attendee experience.
- Develop communication plan and messaging to promote work and build buy in across varied groups of stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure experiences global alignment of work.
- Continually research and benchmark emerging trends in executive skills and development. Leverage insights to make recommendations that scale across The Walt Disney Company.
- Execute experiences supporting event management, including strategy, planning, and execution in partnership with internal and external vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience working on cohort or event-based experiences, using insights to designing and delivering content, and working with cross-functional project teams.
- Proven track record of innovative and creative thinking. Ability to handle ambiguity, operating effectively even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
- Proven experience in developing detailed project plans, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, crafting clear communications that adjust to meet the audience needs.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, building partnerships and working collaboratively with others on a shared goal.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and delivering executive development programs.
- Experience in global/matrixed environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education:
- Advanced degree in Learning & Leadership Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.

The hiring range for this position in California is $112,700.00 to $144,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
