Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing is a dynamic, results-driven marketing team responsible for positioning films released by Disney/20th Century (live action), Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, and now studio branded titles on Disney+. This organization oversees the Studios’ global marketing strategy encompassing creative, media, digital, international, promotions, publicity, research, special events, and synergy, and handles some the most valuable film brands and franchises of all time.

In this role, the Traffic Specialist will support the Sr. Manager, Traffic and Director, Integrated Marketing & Synergy to ensure all creative assets are delivered on a timely basis to network partners and media agencies, assets are properly requested within a reasonable timeframe, and monitored throughout the completion of a campaign.  The Specialist must have exceptional interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationship with creative, digital, and other marketing team members and executives. Collaborate with A/V creative and finishing teams to help layout broadcast and digital video needs for synergy partner weekly rotations.  The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative & organized individual with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.  

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the operations team for SVOD order entry and Airtable workflows, enhancing communication and driving seamless execution.

  • Serve as the main liaison for SVOD partners, managing creative approvals, coordinating flighting schedules, and delivering detailed weekly reports to ensure smooth delivery and maximize partner satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager and Director on Broadcast, Radio Digital and SVOD rotation based on campaign

  • Coordinate with Paid Media Traffic Manager/Specialists and AV and digital teams to source timelines, asset availability and creative allocation

  • Organize asset delivery requests for synergy partners for TV Spots, Radio, Special Looks, Custom Creative, and SVOD

  • Update weekly partner rotation documents aligning to overall media creative allocations and timelines

  • Work closely with AV teams for spot needs for Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Jr. and acquire asset materials such as animated/static billboards and :10/:05 copy reads for partner use

  • Request digital video and banner assets to creative/agency team with specifications in a timely manner and secure delivery to agency and partners

  • Develop weekly rotation highlights for internal team reference

  • Organize all partner rotation documents in network folders, as well as create and review any rotation highlights/summaries for the IMS team leads  

  • Update rotation details weekly within marketing briefs/plans as needed

  • Build and foster relationships with internal marketing and external teams – strong interpersonal skills a must

  • Keep Sr. Manager and Director apprised of any new campaign content/spot priorities/messaging changes

  • Take on additional projects as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Exceptional multi-task skills with the ability to work on many projects/film titles simultaneously in a high pressure, fast paced environment

  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines with the ability to change course of action quickly

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to assure successful interaction with executives and business unit contacts

  • Team player with a positive outlook that works well with others

  • Detail oriented with superior organization skills

  • Reliable, flexible, and reachable

Preferred Education

  • College Degree preferred

  • Relevant experience in media or advertising preferred, but not required

  • Proficient/Advanced in MS Office – specifically in Excel & PowerPoint (and/or Keynote)


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
