This role is considered remote, which means the employee will work remotely on an ongoing basis and will not have an assigned workspace at a Company designated location.

Job Summary:

This role is part of a centralized Flex Recruiting Team designed to provide flexible, shortterm professional recruiting support across The Walt Disney Company. As a temporary recruiter, you will be dynamically deployed to priority requisitions across multiple business areas, stepping in where speed, coverage, and experienced execution are most needed. Success in this role requires the ability to ramp quickly, build strong remote partnerships, and deliver efficient, highquality recruiting outcomes across a variety of roles and clients.

This position is for a Temporary Recurring as-needed recruiter, not defined as part-time or full-time. The number of hours scheduled will vary based on business needs, as well as times when no hours will be scheduled. This can be a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a flexible recruiting resource, assigned to requisitions across different teams based on business demand and hiring volume.
  • Rapidly onboard to new function areas, role types, and hiring leaders, quickly gaining enough context to consult effectively and move searches forward.
  • Own fullcycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, driving efficient and effective searches in fastmoving or highvolume environments.
  • Build strong, trustbased relationships with hiring managers and partners remotely. Apply scaling excellence principles (e.g., leading Recruiting Kickoffs, conducting candidate video screens, etc.) to set clear guidance and structure.
  • Provide structured interview guides to hiring leaders and gather pertinent, standardized interview feedback to reduce bias and promote a consistent, equitable candidate experience.
  • Adapt recruiting strategies to meet diverse business needs while maintaining consistency in process, experience, and delivery.
  • Leverage proactive sourcing, market insights, and internal tools to identify and engage talent quickly.
  • Partner closely with recruiting leadership and peers to share learnings, flag risks, and ensure seamless transitions as capacity needs change.

Required Experience:

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple searches, and shifting priorities simultaneously.
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter, developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing/recruitment strategies.
  • Subject matter expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent consultation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving recruitment objectives including time-to-fill, volume, quality, and internal hiring objectives.
  • Passion for building strong, collaborative working relationships with clients and peers across multiple departments, levels, and geographic locations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous or current experience with The Walt Disney Company is strongly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other areas of study preferred.

Additional Information

  • Required Availability: This position is a Temporary Recurring role with fluctuating hours. It will require more hours during periods of increased demand and part-time to no hours during slower periods. This recruiter will be client-facing and own their own full-cycle requisition(s).
  • Location: This position can be located throughout most of the continental United States utilizing a dedicated home office that includes a reliable phone, a high-speed internet service, and video capability.
  • There is no travel required for this position.

The hiring range for this remote position is $65,880 to $92,580 per year based on a 24 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
