GLOBAL SOURCING COMPLIANCE & OPERATIONS is part of Disney Parks Experiences and Products and functions within the Global Product (GP) organization. The GP organization is focused on merchandise strategy, product design/innovation, merchandise sourcing and supplier compliance. Through these centers of excellence, we deliver high quality, innovative products that are safe and responsibly sourced to consumers in all retail channels around the world, while supplying a unique guest experience. Sourcing Compliance & Operations (SCO) cultivates a thriving team and strong partnerships around the world and collaborates with best-in-class suppliers to consistently evolve our quality, sustainability, and risk management initiatives to drive productivity and profitability through strong internal/external relationships and proactive mitigation of cost drivers. SCO manages the supplier lifecycle ensuring ethical sourcing and brand protection across merchandise and non-merchandise categories and oversees the onboarding, exiting, licensing and compliance of suppliers. The team works towards continuously improving supplier relationships and cultivation of global and cross-functional partnerships.
General Responsibilities
Program Ownership & Accountability
- Own the supplier onboarding and maintenance program for Owned & Operated suppliers, including intake, review, approval, system activation, and ongoing compliance readiness.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for onboarding accuracy, cycle time, data integrity, and compliance outcomes.
- Independently manage onboarding priorities, risks, and tradeoffs within established compliance frameworks.
Governance, Standards & Risk Management
- Define, document, and maintain onboarding standards, controls, and questionnaires, ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs.
- Own annual updates to onboarding questionnaires, tables, and data validation rules.
- Proactively identify onboarding risks, data inconsistencies, or control gaps and lead mitigation efforts in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Act as the escalation point for non‑standard onboarding issues and supplier exceptions.
Data Integrity & Systems Leadership
- Own data consistency and validation across Owned & Operated systems, ensuring integrity of supplier master data and supplier performance assessments.
- Analyze onboarding and supplier data trends to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure onboarding processes support audit readiness and compliance transparency.
Continuous Improvement & Process Design
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for supplier onboarding and maintenance processes, balancing compliance requirements with operational efficiency.
- Design and implement scalable process enhancements, tools, or automation in partnership with technology and business teams.
- Measure and report onboarding performance metrics and improvement outcomes.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication
- Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Product Integrity, EDI, Technology, and business teams to ensure onboarding requirements are clearly understood and consistently applied.
- Communicate onboarding status, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Provide guidance and expertise to peers and partners on onboarding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of related professional experience in supplier onboarding, compliance operations, data governance, or process management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365 tools (including Power Apps, Power Web Forms, Teams, Stream)
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs, priorities, and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Proven experience leading process improvement initiatives
- Project management experience
- Ability to operate effectively in a decentralized, cross‑functional environment
Education
- Required: 2‑year college degree or equivalent work experience in data management, compliance operations, or related certifications
- Desired: 3–5 years of directly related experience

This position reports to the Supplier Performance/EDI Manager
The hiring range for this position in Florida is $83,000.00 to $111,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
