Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a dynamic business offering vacation ownership across 17 resorts in Florida, South Carolina, California and Hawaii. The DVC Club Strategy & Development Analyst will help grow business results by identifying opportunities to enhance the utilization of Disney Vacation Club inventory, identify key Member experience barriers, and support strategic initiatives for DVC. Also, you will be responsible for analyzing data and trends related to Member travel behavior and resort inventory usage including points charts and member exchanges. Successful candidates must be able to analyze and structure complex and ambiguous data sets to develop compelling and insightful reporting deliverables and tools.

If selected for the role, you will report to the Sr Mgr-DVC Club Strategy & Development.

This is a Full-Time role and is located in Celebration, FL.

What You Will Do

On any given day, as a DVC Club Strategy and Development Analyst, you might:

  • Understand business impacts of decisions, projects, or initiatives, supported by thorough financial and business analysis.

  • Build analytical models and dashboards to support member and OI generating initiatives.

  • Provide key inputs for long-term and annual operating plans as well as ad-hoc scenario planning.

  • Evaluate resort demand and points charts to provide inventory usage recommendations for existing and new resorts.

  • Analyze Member Exchange usage and pricing metrics.

  • Analyze pricing and other keys metrics for strategic new business initiatives.

  • Create engaging, informative, and well-organized reports and dashboards.

  • Partner with teams across the organization including Revenue Management, Forecasting, FP&A, CIMA and IDX.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of relevant professional work experience in strategy, data science, finance, revenue management, marketing, consulting, industrial engineering, and/or consumer insight.

  • Strong proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools, with proven experience to synthesize large amounts of data to create actionable insights.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint with demonstrated experience translating analytical concepts into understandable insights and recommendations for partners and leadership.

  • Superior interpersonal / partnership skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity.

  • Proactive with a strong sense of urgency to independently drive projects forward, even with high ambiguity and shifting deadlines.

  • A passion for the Disney product.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the DVC business.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in database applications (e.g Snowflake, SSMS, Tableau) and the ability to write complex queries.

  • Prior experience with The Walt Disney Company or Disney Parks Experiences & Products.

  • Experience presenting data to senior leaders to gain buy in.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Statistics or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education

MBA or Master’s degree in relevant field.
