About the Role & Program

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a dynamic business offering vacation ownership across 17 resorts in Florida, South Carolina, California, and Hawaii. As the DVC Pricing Strategy and Analytics Intern on the Disney Signature Experiences – Pricing & Revenue Management Team, you will have a wide array of responsibilities supporting the identification, measurement, and estimation of critical consumer demand trends that drive performance. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025-June 2025

Through the creation of retail rates, promotional offers, and more, you will build a direct and visible impact on the business while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   • Prepare reports and provide analysis for different audiences, including senior executive management to help impact decision-making

  • Lead the improvement of forecasting tools and models using mathematical and statistical techniques to provide actionable insights and influence business decisions

  • Develop retail rate and promotional offer strategies to optimize profitability using detailed analysis of booking trends and competitive intelligence

  • Ensure all projects and plans are submitted in a timely fashion

  • Build and deliver engaging, insightful, well-organized presentations

  • Various ad-hoc analyses and special projects

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Superb analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (specifically, experience with VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to translate sophisticated analytical concepts into relevant recommendations

  • Able to communicate effectively across different environments (in-person, written communication, Zoom, etc.)

  • Flexible and willing to quickly learn skills and processes, while actively crafting new ways to advance the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in associated database applications (e.g., SQL, Python, Snowflake)

  • Experience working with large data sets and being able to write complex queries

  • General knowledge or previous experience in the Travel & Tourism industry and a desire to learn more about Disney Vacation Club

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Major or previous coursework in: Finance, Statistics, Math, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Business, Industrial Engineering, or other related field

  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred, or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program 

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025-June 2025.

  • This internship is located in the Orlando, FL area.

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area
