About the Role & Team
The Accounting & Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) is a full-time analyst program designed to provide a cross-functional learning experience within the Controllership and Finance departments at The Walt Disney Company. AFRP analysts participate in distinct rotations designed to build key technical and leadership skills needed to succeed within the many businesses of Disney.
Analysts will work with a diverse set of teams and colleagues throughout their rotations allowing them to develop, grow, and enhance the necessary skills to become strong accounting and finance professionals. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for various opportunities in the Accounting and Finance organizations within The Walt Disney Company.
This is a project-hire position located in Florida and will have an end date of August 13, 2027.
What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Accounting & Finance Rotation Program in one of our Florida-based tracks, comprised of rotations across Corporate and Disney Experiences.
Professional Development: Analysts will follow specialized curriculum to build communication, leadership, presentation, writing and other professional and leadership skills.
Expanding Your Network: Analysts are afforded frequent opportunities to meet with peers and senior leaders from the many different businesses within the company and the industry.
Formal Mentorship: Analyst will be matched with a senior level manager who will provide ongoing development, leadership insights and direction to help make the two-year program even more valuable. Opportunities for informal mentorship and partnership will also happen throughout the program.
Work Towards Your CPA: AFRP provides the necessary resources and tools to study and take the parts of the CPA exam and will satisfy work-hour requirements to become a licensed CPA.
Required Qualifications
Candidates demonstrate a combination of academic proficiency, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and advanced written and oral communications skills. We are specifically looking for individuals who have the following background:
1-2 years of full-time professional Accounting and/or Finance experience
Dedication to building a career in Accounting and/or Finance
Proven track record to take on leadership positions and significant responsibility
Strong SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Willingness to permanently relocate to Orlando, FL, if not local
Preferred Qualifications
Meet all credit-hour qualifications to sit for the CPA exam prior to starting with the program
Proficiency in advanced analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake)
Comfortable using AI (CoPilot)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field of study, with a focus/emphasis on accounting
The hiring range for this position in Florida and California is $68,600 to $91,900. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
