The Customer Engagement Media Strategy & Activation team delivers powerful customer experiences across marketing touchpoints by using data and tools to bring marketing to life. We lead consumer analytics, business intelligence, and audience strategy for 1:1 marketing campaigns to improve targeting, messaging, and channel strategies using data-driven insights.

This is an individual contributor role.

This position is based in Celebration, Florida.

You Will:

Audience Strategy

  • Lead audience strategy for one or more Line of Business within Disney Experiences

  • Create data-driven, audience-first strategies for various campaigns, using business objectives, audience performance and insights, and knowledge of data activation

  • Translate business objectives into actionable, data-driven audience recommendations

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for direct channel and paid media campaigns by identifying relevant audiences and ensuring platform delivery

  • Leverage understanding of available attributes, models, segmentation, and onboarding capabilities to creatively think about ways to use audience data

  • Play a meaningful role in annual upfront planning, providing insights, recommendations and strategies to help craft the comprehensive marketing plan. Provide thought leadership on how the team can best support the process

Audience Insights & Analytics

  • Analyze and synthesize data from various sources to build holistic views of audiences with clear insights and recommendations. Present findings to the Audiences team and partners

  • Monitor the performance of audience strategies and make recommendations for optimization

  • Provide recommendations and thought leadership on the advancement of insight capabilities

Audience Team Priorities

  • Expand team capabilities and influence through partnerships with internal teams or vendors

  • Develop subject matter expertise and own the development of a priority area for the Audiences team, ensuring the rest of the Audiences team remains informed

  • Find opportunities to streamline Audience team processes and workflows

Audience Team Leadership

  • Provide mentorship and thought leadership to other Audience team members

You Will Have:

  • Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences & Products and a passion for the brand

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience crafting data-driven, audience-first strategies for direct channels and/or paid media

  • Experience using data and insights from multiple sources to provide actionable, audience-centric recommendations

  • Experience with Data Analysis and Manipulation Tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

  • Experience translating insights and recommendations into presentations for various stakeholders

  • Experience with Paid and/or Direct Channel Activation Platforms (Meta, YouTube, Google, Adobe Campaign, Braze, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Experience leading and completing projects in a large, matrix organization

  • Experience with Audience segmentation and activation tools (DMP, CDP, Data Onboarders)

  • Understanding of Customer Data Strategy concepts (1st/2nd/3rd party data, Data Privacy and Suppression, Segmentation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence teams and the ability to translate business needs to model and dashboard ideas and requirements

  • Experience monitoring audience performance

  • Experience mentoring junior team members

  • Experience with audience insights tools, such as Google Insights Finder, Resonate, etc.

Education

Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
