Part of the DX Marketing Center of Excellence, we are seeking an experienced, self-starting, and relationship-oriented teammate. The Manager, Marketing Partnerships & Promotions will create and lead strategic partnerships and integrations that will drive the Walt Disney World business with a focus on driving awareness, attendance and increase affinity for parks and resorts. You will partner with business leaders across DX to build marketing activations that support important priorities and programs including Sports Partnerships and Multicultural markets. You will work with Walt Disney World Marketing Strategy Partners to create needle-moving and business driving programs. You will also develop promotions with third-party partners including media, event, and travel partners.

What You Will Do
- Develop and lead innovative partnerships, integrations and activations.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key internal team members and partners while managing day-to-day communications with business units, including but not limited to Marketing Strategy; Media, Special and Broadcast Events; and Publicity
- Lead team members on and through key tactical events – e.g. Media Press Events (TV & Radio); Content shoots at Disney Parks and Experiences properties; Media Tours (Domestic and Local)
- Will act as an extension of the senior manager on the team when it comes to programs and be a giving thought partner for promotional opportunities: identifying potential new partners (both media and non-media) with concise recommendations for the team
- Assist in the execution of promotional campaigns with internal and external groups while managing achievements and timelines.
- Work with the team’s coordinator to produce campaign recap decks for external and internal business unit partners; and conduct post-campaign analysis (calculating metrics such as media value, reach/impressions, and return on investment).
- Oversee communications with various The Walt Disney Company business units, and third-party partners, focusing on relationship management and collaboration addressing business goals and objectives. You are able to pitch new ideas while driving existing programs.
- Manage and mentor Associate-level and Manager-level team members.
- Assist the Director and VP on ad hoc presentations, one-sheets, and communications.
- Monitor the landscape on an ongoing basis to identify trends and behaviors and inspire new and innovative opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, and/or advertising agency industry
- Experience in client/account management, project management
- Ability to influence and lead others in day-to-day assignments and complex projects
- Adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Excellent written/verbal, presentation, time management, and quantitative/analytical skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Top-notch collaboration skills and ability to effectively partner with business units across lines of business within DX, and team members across Yellow Shoes.
- Proficient in the full suite of Office/Mac software including Outlook, Keynote, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Promotions experience a plus
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Multicultural marketing experience a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
