Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a complex, dynamic, and growing business that requires added focus and leadership. The Project Manager will support the successful delivery and ongoing support for projects and solutions for DVC. In this role, you will be responsible managing integration, tracking performance, and troubleshooting operational and technical issues related DVC initiatives. You will prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets to support your projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and tracking financial inquiries.

You will report to the Sr Manager, Integration & Business Transformation.

This position is based in Celebration, Florida.

You Will:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information

  • Break apart strategic and transformational projects into set phases and timeframes

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports such as scope of works, project charters, and executive presentations

  • Liaise with other Managers to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

  • Document meetings, follow ups, and action plans from project team meetings

  • Analyze and communicate risks and opportunities at both the task and project level to the project manager

  • Monitor project progress and proactively communicate or handle any issues that arise

  • Escalate and communicate roadblocks appropriately

  • Identify opportunities and improvements for initiatives to inform future phases and iterations

You Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience of project management or relevant work experience in product development, business development, strategy, business transformation, finance, revenue management, or equivalent roles

  • Proven ability to work successfully in cross functional teams

  • Consistent track record of taking ownership and of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, including history of successfully delivering projects end to end, through the entire life cycle

  • Ability to analyze metrics to create stories depicting product performances and user experiences to assist in making strategic decisions

  • Clear and effective communication - written, verbal, and visual; connecting with technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Smartsheet

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree or project management certification
