About the Role & Team:

Are you interested in transforming kids' lives with Disney Imagination Campus Youth Groups Sales team? You will work with Student Youth organizations, ensuring their student trip to Walt Disney World reaches far beyond their imagination. Here, student groups can perform at the most magical place on Earth, take an academic workshop in our theme parks, learn a scene from one of our world-famous Broadway shows, and more! As a Sales Manager with The Walt Disney Company, you will offer outstanding opportunities and experiences for student groups, working directly with schools and other youth organizations. Our unparalleled products and services, across Walt Disney World, delivers on Disney’s long-standing tradition to engage kids in our show.

You will report to the Sales Director Disney Imagination Campus.

This is a Full-Time position.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and create Youth Group opportunities through assigned leads from new business solicitation forms, social media, Open Houses, and other sales activities

  • Cultivate and grow relationships with school directors, resulting in repeat business, to grow leads and incremental revenue

  • Attend conventions and trade shows to drive incremental business and leads

  • Work with contracts that fairly meet Disney's and our client's needs – representing the best interests of all the lines of business (Food & Beverage, Operations, Disney Event Group)

  • Develop creative solutions that meet challenges that come with student travel

  • Manage contracts, room blocks, admissions, and vital components

  • Use systems to maintain accurate records, supervise sales activity with Coordinators, and have willingness to learn new systems

  • Have vast knowledge in Disney products and services

  • Be accountable for personal sales goals, ensuring that it is reflected accurately on sales reports, and follows SUCCESS guidelines

  • Know and follow all Disney company polices and guidelines

  • Represent the Disney brand in all internal and external client interactions

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 4 years of sales experience or equivalent

  • Proven verbal and written communication and organizational skills

  • Understanding client needs and problem-solving demeanor to support them

  • Proven client management and relationship building abilities to promote repeat guests, as well as incredible experiences

  • Knowledge in student travel industry/school systems

  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills that will support the clients and Disney

  • Proficiency with balancing the workload of client requests, via phone and email, with projects and other work streams that occur in a sales environment

  • Proficiency with site visits and Zoom presentations

  • Social and networking skills and awareness of cultural sensitivity/diversity

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
