About the Role & Program

Travel Agency Sales is a department grounded in communication and relationships. This department provides strategic and tactical sales support for Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa across various domestic travel trade channels. The mission of Travel Agency Sales is to fully leverage the Disney brand and support compelling marketing initiatives for the travel industry that motivate, educate, and inspire our clients and their guests to drive positive sales results!

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2026 - January 2027

What You Will Do

The Sales Strategy Intern will support the Travel Agency Sales team in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and delivering data-driven insights that support domestic leisure sales across Disney Destinations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, financial forecasting, CRM systems, and cross-functional project management — all within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

In particular, the intern will:

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategy projects that support business growth and partner engagement.
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process through data collection, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Help maintain and update CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), ensuring data accuracy and supporting cooperative advertising workflows.
  • Prepare presentation materials and reporting dashboards for internal business reviews and leadership updates.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers and cross-functional partners to support sales initiatives and partner communications.
  • Potential opportunity to assist with On-Site Agent Education Programs and Training Events

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in sales strategy, operations, or the travel and tourism industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Possess a valid US driver’s license and your own personal vehicle to get to/from on-site events

Required Materials

Education

  • Junior/Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Finance, Business, Communications, or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

  • Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - January 2027
  • Fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Transportation: Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.50 per hour.
