Job Summary:

About the Role & Team 

 

In close collaboration with the team, this role is responsible for leading and supporting strategic and commercial initiatives, identifying new growth opportunities, and supporting the optimization of business performance across The Walt Disney Company Nordics & Baltics. 

 

In this role you will play a central role in managing and advancing commercial discussions with external partners, with a clear focus on developing scalable partnerships, unlocking new revenue streams, and generating incremental growth. 

 

Working crossfunctionally with internal stakeholders, the role contributes to the development and execution of partnership opportunities, preparation of commercial and strategic materials, and ensuring momentum and continuity across key initiatives. 

 

What we need from you? Strong business development capabilities, solid commercial judgement, and the ability to operate effectively across a broad stakeholder landscape, including senior internal teams and current and prospective partner organisations. 

 

This role can be based in either of our Nordic offices: Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo. You’ll be onsite 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home. This role is a fixed-term, parental leave cover until April 2027.

What You Will Do 

  • Lead strategic and financial analysis of growth opportunities 

  • Work with key stakeholders to build business cases for new opportunities, identifying associated revenue streams, costs and risk  

  • Prepare and review of business plans to ensure credibility and alignment to overall company goals  

  • Proactively conduct outreach to existing and prospective clients/partners to identify needs, strengthen relationships, and support commercial opportunities 

  • Production of well-thought through internal briefing documents for each project 

  • Lead projects with strategic importance for Disney Nordic & Baltic 

  • Analyse key market trends and competitors to provide insights for senior management to ensure effective decision making 

  • Tracking and analysing key business performance trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement 

 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Significant experience within Business Development or Commercial roles, preferably gained within consulting or media 

  • Ability to see ideas through from business case building to deal execution 

  • Prioritization and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects 

  • Judgment, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills (ability to create clear, compelling executive-level presentations) and strong Excel skills 

  • Business fluency in English and at least one Nordic language 

  • Clear and impactful communicator – actively listens, invites different perspectives, and communicates candidly and timely to align stakeholders and drive shared understanding.  

  • Results-driven and accountable – delivers high-quality outcomes in complex environments; uses data and sound judgement to solve problems, keep commitments, and drive decisions.
