About the Role & Team
As a Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) for Travel Agency Sales (TAS) with Disney, you will be responsible for driving revenue in the Adventures and Expeditions space. In this role, you will craft and implement dynamic sales and marketing plans that drive measurable revenue growth within the luxury travel space. You will actively handle a portfolio of active TAS clients, with a primary focus on Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions, while also providing sales support for Lindblad Expeditions activities.
If selected for this Full-Time position, you will report to the Regional Sales Director of the Northeast Midwest Sales Region with Travel Agency Sales.
What You Will Do
- Drive annual business results for the key lines of business
- Conduct sales calls with existing agencies to maintain, strengthen and grow client relationships within the Disney portfolio
- Build and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve annual operating plan targets
- Identify, develop, and implement new sales growth initiatives that are measurable, actionable, and aligned to business priorities
- Analyze and solve sophisticated business challenges by developing data-driven cases and recommendations
- Deliver product and technology training to clients, with a focus on luxury offerings within the Disney portfolio
- Handle program budget and be accountable for timely forecasting, tracking and reporting
- Improve product and promotional opportunities through client tactics and effective communication
- Conduct or support regional training events, including Agent Education Programs, Familiarization trips (FAMs), ship tours, and other industry events
- Serve as a liaison and field support partner for licensed product of Lindblad Expeditions
- Provide support as needed in the Adventures and Expeditions space for fellow Sales Business Development Managers
Basic Qualifications
- Broad understanding of luxury travel industry and key trends in the marketplace
- Proven ability working within the high-end/luxury travel space
- Deep knowledge of Disney luxury brands, products and sales processes
- Experience creating, implementing and measuring innovative marketing programs, social media tactics, consumer events and training initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to serve as a credible business partner both internally and externally
- Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to drive results
- Ability to partner with clients to negotiate annual marketing plans and growth incentives
- Broad understanding of marketing principles and ability to create and execute strategic plans
- Proven success in building relationships with frontline and executive partners, both internal and external
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience in the selling and marketing of Private Jet products and luxury guided family tours
- Established relationships with travel agencies and advisors in the domestic luxury travel space
- Proficient understanding of sales and marketing concepts and processes within luxury/high-end markets
- Working knowledge of all Disney travel products including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Adventures by Disney, Aulani, Disney Cruise Line, National Geographics Expeditions, Lindblad Expeditions
- 5+ years of related Disney experience and Disney processes
- 3+ years of Travel Industry Sales experience

The hiring range for this remote position is $100,100 to $154,300 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
