Job Summary:

Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The Disney+ Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.

Job Summary:

The Content Planning Coordinator will provide pivotal support to the Disney+ Global Content Planning arm of the Disney+ Global Programming team. This role will help maintain and audit databases, localization intent, global dates, and day-to-day change management. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong sense of collaboration and diplomacy.  This role will report to Manager, Content Planning.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Maintain and help generate databases, reports, and documents that are distributed to leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Communicate with internal partnering teams to inform day-to-day shifts and change management
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects and requests
  • Track and audit international plans for titles in Disney+ ecosystems
  • Maintain clean international title planning data through the lifecycle of a title

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 1+ years of previous work experience with relevant field preferred
  • Experience in fields related to scheduling, slate planning, or content strategy, ideally in digital media and entertainment. SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.
  • Strong excel, data governance, and data interpretation skills. Airtable experience is a plus
  • Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving through self-reliance and resourcefulness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree


The hiring range for this position in CA is $57,900.00 to $77,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
