Have you ever wondered how Disney engages with our most dedicated fans? Join the marketing team for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club and learn how we engage the most passionate Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel fans by building experiences that bring them closer to the magic than ever before! If selected for this role, you'll work on marketing campaigns that support overall D23 Membership growth, highlight D23 Member benefits, event attendance, merchandise sales, and more. Supporting efforts in brand management, campaign integration, digital marketing development, and CRM marketing, this role will allow you to explore multiple facets of marketing.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from January 2025 - June 2025.

What You Will Do

As an intern, you will work closely with the team to drive acquisition and retention for D23 by supporting marketing and partnership initiatives, maintaining performance trackers and marketing calendars, and actively participating in meetings. If you are a fast learner with a genuine curiosity about the Walt Disney Company's history, including films, animation, television, and theme parks, and have knowledge of the marketing function of D23, then apply today!

On any given day, you might:

  • Help build and update marketing campaign strategy resources to ensure project timelines and objectives are met
  • Coordinate the creation of marketing assets for various campaigns, working with Marketing, Editorial, Social, and Graphics teams
  • Prepare and present Keynote campaign recap presentations that include performance metrics, key takeaways & actionable recommendations
  • Supply ideas, write, and proofread copy for D23.com, D23 emails, and other marketing initiatives with digital and social channels
  • Assist with other marketing responsibilities as needed by members of the D23 Marketing team, supporting integration within D23 as well as across other Disney teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong proficiency in Excel and analytic skills
  • Experience with presentation software, specifically PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Well-developed writing and grammatical skills; including copywriting, proofreading, and documenting meeting notes with action items
  • Upbeat and adaptable self-starter who takes initiative - able to balance multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications ·

  • Previous experience with website and digital marketing projects; relationship management and integration; and posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization
  • Campaign and event planning experience
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Currently enrolled senior, or graduated within the past six months majoring in marketing, or a closely related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 – June 2025, in Glendale, CA
  • Full availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work
