Job Summary:
The Digital Integration Manager – Content Strategy will serve as the Disneyland Resort (DLR) liaison for TWDC Digital Marketing and Global Disney Experiences (DX) Public Relations, responsible for developing and implementing integrated DX digital content strategies in support of the DLR business. The ideal candidate will be a solution-oriented leader with proven ability to effectively partner in a highly matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with site/portfolio partners to develop a keen understanding of their business, build strategic internal relationships, and provide effective digital strategies
Facilitate key stakeholder integration and collaboration (site/portfolio project owners, editorial leads, program leads, creative leads, etc.) to drive efficient and aligned digital support – from planning and ideation to developing holistic DX digital content strategy for creative execution and distribution
Provide platform relevancy guidance to support successful outcomes for all variations of projects, campaigns, and initiatives
Work with public relations/ public affairs teams to ensure alignment with key franchise and campaign initiatives and/or site launches, and identify #DisneyCastLife opportunities and extensions
Represent segment-level perspective to cultivate and build upon site/portfolio strategies and creative ideas
Lead discussions between creative team, site/portfolio partners, and other key partners (Marketing, Entertainment, Walt Disney Imagineering, Food & Beverage, Corporate Alliances, etc.) to formulate content ideas and facilitate concept approval
Assist as or identify an on-site strategy director for media events, photo/video content shoots, and other stakeholder engagements
Report out on program successes and opportunities to drive site/partner business result
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a role within public relations, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record in complex projects.
Strong leadership and relationship building skills. Proficient in public relations/marketing project management and coordination.
Extensive understanding of public relations strategies, content creation, and marketing operations. Familiarity with Disney Experiences and related marketing strategies is a plus. Knowledgeable about current social media trends and able to translate that into engaging content and earned/owned media efforts with a focus on ROI
Ability to work outside of business hours and some weekends as business needs require for video shoots, content capture and panelist training.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $115,500 - $154,800 per year. The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $110,000 - $147,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
