What you will do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Tech and Business Operation Analyst to join our team. This critical role requires developing in-depth expertise, troubleshooting abilities, process monitoring, and guidance for the Business/Operations teams and licensees across several integrated internal systems across Disney Consumer Product and Disney Publishing Worldwide systems ensuring a seamless operation. Familiarity with these systems will immerse the ideal candidate in facets project, program, system, and business management, with lens of end-to-end deal to execution. Additionally, the role includes assisting in development of Technology project plans and Business Operations (business data analysis, reporting, and insights), vital for Business Development, Product Management, and Creative teams.
This role will support the Director of Technology & Strategy, with responsibilities extending to assessment and canvasing of opportunities across emerging technology and digital trends/behaviors.
On any given day, you will:
Navigate intricate processes/project plans specific to technology integrations/implementations ensuring seamless collaboration across workstreams within the Digital Innovation and DCP teams
Monitor process flow, project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Prepare/present status updates and insight reporting across different audiences including management and other high-level executives
Create/maintain comprehensive process documentation, timelines, budgets, and prioritization plans
Facilitate cross-functional status meetings, fostering collaboration and problem-solving
Build expertise in user analytic/process management tools to guide and inform project decisions
Assist with integration of emerging and content-related technologies within project scope
Work in conjunction with team leads aligning project goals with strategic outcomes
Assist in the RFP/RFI process with Sourcing partners for vendor/product selection
Participate in discovery phases, contributing research and knowledge of relevant technologies
Play a key role in bridging technical and business aspects technology projects, ensuring timing vs. scope feasibility aligned with technical capabilities' roadmap, market maturity, and business values.
Perform and analyze quarterly, annual, or 5-year segment operating plans with Business Development
Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, at the request of Executives within the org
Partner with the Finance team during quarter-end close to provide variance explanations
Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, showcasing your leadership and confidence
Required Qualifications & Skills:
2 years of business analysis, process/contract management, campaign development, and accounting experience with a strong interest in Tech Innovation and Digital Consumer Products
Proven relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate problems autonomously and diplomatically.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, paired with a constructive curiosity to drive change.
Ability to understand complex contracts and decipher financial terms within the agreements.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, finance, economics, and/or accounting or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year and in Orlando, FL is $61,300 to $82,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
