Join our team, where you'll support our dynamic and fast-paced global hardlines business that encompasses fashion dolls, role play toys, costume dress- up and more! In our categories, we focus heavily on the Princess, Frozen and American Girl Franchises. If you are passionate around these and other Disney franchises, we’d love for you to apply.

If selected you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Hardlines and work closely with the global hardlines team.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, California area from June 2026 through January 2027.

What You Will Do

Our Hardlines licensing intern will work with the team and top licensees such as Mattel and Jakks to build best-in-class global product lines and drive strategy to gain market share.

  • Dive into the world dolls and role play by supporting cross-functional team needs such as sample requests, information gathering, and product/marketing status updates. Be prepared to respond with agility on behalf of our team, ensuring our partnerships flourish.
  • Attend category, product development, and marketing meetings and transform discussion notes into actionable follow-ups that you help track. Your resourceful note-taking and agenda gathering for category meetings will keep our global team aligned and informed.
  • Take charge of maintaining line plans, priority product grids, marketing asset repository, and other folders ensuring our strategies are always up-to-date and ready to share with cross functional teams.
  • Act as a liaison between our team and others for various development and marketing approvals
  • Provide invaluable support in the contract and amendment process
  • Capture crucial data for business analysis, including trend research and retail shopping visits. Your insights will drive our strategies forward.
  • Craft product presentations that showcase our categories in the best light possible.

Please Apply If You Have/Are

  • Detailed and organized, able to balance multiple projects across a variety of franchises/brands at a time
  • A self-starter who has experience in problem-solving with creative solutions
  • Willing to take action with the ability to embrace a committed environment
  • Advanced digital literacy: Keynote and Microsoft 365, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

It would also be great if you have:

  • Prior Coursework and/or experience in Product Licensing, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Business
  • A strong passion for toys and/or dolls  
  • Previous experience and passion for in retail/merchandise

Education

  • Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate Senior, graduating with a degree in Marketing, Business or Communications

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • The dates of this internship are June 15th, 2026 through January 2nd, 2027
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the  internship program in the Glendale, California, area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Glendale, CA is $22.50 per hour.
