The Distribution Coordinator will manage all details pertaining to the receipt and distribution of books, comics, and magazines for Disney Publishing Worldwide, including maintaining the publishing archive and library.
You will report to the VP Business Operations & Publishing Management
This is a Full-Time role
What You Will Do
Distribute book samples to designated lists of recipients as they arrive in Glendale on a daily and/or weekly basis.
Pack and distribute samples for regional Disney Publishing offices.
Maintain a database of books and magazines in our physical library and locate titles upon request.
Log samples received into the Title Management system.
Maintain shipping supplies.
Maintain off-site warehouse of books (older/surplus book collection) and all details pertaining to the relocation of these items (including transport)
Assist with the ongoing book donation process as well as ad hoc VIP requests
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience managing high-volume distribution of mail, products, or time-sensitive materials.
Experience managing digital databases and archiving, including data entry, logging, and scanning of detailed information.
Ability to lift heavy books and boxes weighing anywhere from 5 pounds to 50 pounds.
High level of organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work alone, with minimal direction
Education
High School diploma or equivalent

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $49,200 to $66,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
