Job Summary:

About the Role & Program

The Marketing Intern for the Disney & Pixar Games team will support the Associate Manager, Marketing on brand and product marketing strategy and activity for assigned licensed titles across Disney, Pixar & Avatar games. You will help Games licensees successfully implement go-to-market plans that build brand awareness, engage consumers, and drive conversions. You will play an important role in coordinating schedules, details, and deliverables across all assigned titles and while being driven, collaborative, and organized!

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand, Production, Design, PR, Legal, and Synergy partners) to secure alignment, feedback and approvals on marketing deliverables and activations with licensees
  • Maintain asset management tools/directories to ensure high quality, on-time results
  • Draft and distribute guidance, updates, scheduling, and protocols for assigned titles
  • Schedule, track and coordinate social/community support and CRM calendars
  • Partner with regional teams on incoming/outgoing requests/approvals
  • Develop knowledge of important metrics, reporting, and tactics
  • Become a strong brand steward for the Disney, Pixar, & Avatar brands to deliver on-brand marketing and creative

Required Qualifications & Skills

Please apply if you have/are:

  • Education and/or experience in Marketing (preferably within the gaming industry)
  • Passion for the entertainment industry and familiarity with gaming
  • Knowledge of brand management, product marketing, user acquisition, or social/community
  • A highly organized, self-starter with a highly productive work ethic and desire to learn and grow
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of personalities
  • Resourceful problem-solver with a can-do attitude who works well under pressure across multiple projects
  • Meticulous analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and extrapolate insights
  • Impressive written and verbal skills and confidence in presenting
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

It would also be great if you have:

  • Prior experience with Keynote/PowerPoint, Excel, and Airtable or other project management software

Education

  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year or recent graduates (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications/PR, Games or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • This internship is primarily onsite M-Th, with the option to work from home on Fridays. It requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
