Our Games Production Intern will assist the Disney/Pixar team on all aspects of the licensed game production process including taking and distributing meeting notes, participating in milestone and game build reviews, dissemination of product submissions and the consolidation of team feedback. This intern will handle administrative, logistical, and coordination functions related to multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be responsible for partnering with a Producer to deliver innovative, high quality/brand-enhancing products.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Glendale, California, from June 15th, 2026 through January 2nd, 2027
What You Will Do
- Play game development builds to generate brand and qualitative feedback
- Support the approval process of interactive projects in all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of feedback to meet production deadlines
- Support a slate of projects, ensuring timely review of submissions across design, art and development builds
- Participate in weekly recurring functional meetings including taking and distributing meeting notes, ensuring timely follow up on action items
- Facilitate the coordination and collaboration throughout the production process with internal and external cross functional groups, by taking and distributing meeting notes and tracking action items
- Support the management/upkeep/archiving of build submissions and documentation, and provide builds to internal partners to support catalog distribution of titles
- May assist with other production department administrative tasks as requested during the internship
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for the latest games and game platforms (Mobile, Console, and PC)
- Affinity and familiarity with Disney/Pixar and 20th Century franchises
- Strong sense of ownership, flexibility, and urgency
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
- Able to work independently, creatively, and track multiple deadlines and projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on building productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers
- Strong Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint / Keynote
- Demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with software development
- Active gamer, any platforms
- Project management experience using Airtable
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027.
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California, area.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
