Job Summary:

DCCR (Disney Corporate Creative Resources) is a full-service internal creative agency with design, digital, video, and live event divisions serving primarily the corporate segment of The Walt Disney Company including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club and the Walt Disney Archives.

This individual reports directly to the Director, Visual Communications, and will play a critical role in the daily management of the DCCR video team including the supervision of content development and physical production.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

• Supervise the production of a wide range of high-quality original content from short-form promotional

videos to sizzle reels, marketing presentations, interviews, tutorials, and executive communications

• Manage the planning and execution of on-location and virtual shoots

• Oversee video gear purchasing and maintenance

• Develop scripts and pitch creative concepts to clients

• Oversee the archiving of all video content and overall asset management

• Will be asked to edit projects when necessary

• Responsible for taking projects from initial kickoff through delivery

• Work with motion graphics department to create and implement packaging

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4+ years managing a production team

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition, familiarity with DaVinci Resolve

• Needs to be a strong copywriter and have experience pitching to clients

• Must have experience organizing a range of shoots from single interviews to larger-scale productions including pulling together gear lists, managing crew, and production schedules

• Position requires organizational skills, corporate confidentiality, attention to detail, ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and work independently.

• Experience working with senior-level executives and high-profile talent is a major plus

Preferred Skills:

• Subject matter expert in video trends and conversant in the Disney content landscape

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail

• Proven track record of creating cutting-edge, original video solutions on rigorous deadlines

• Ability to multitask between multiple projects and clients

• Ability to work in an environment with/take feedback from multiple stakeholders

• Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

• Good at organization and prioritization

• Flexible with hours based on need

• Strong passion for Disney brands and desire to share that with internal and external audiences


The hiring range for this position in California is $112,100.00 to $150,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
