Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the division of Disney Experiences that brings beloved brands and franchises into the daily lives of families and fans through products — including toys, t-shirts, apps, books, and more — and experiences that can be found around the world. This includes the Disney Store e-commerce platform, Disney Parks, local and international retailers, and Disney Store locations globally. The business is home to world-class teams of experts in product, licensing, and retail; artists and storytellers; and technologists who inspire imaginations around the world.
The Facilities & Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing workplace strategies, facilities operations, maintenance programs, space planning initiatives, and construction projects that support business objectives and employee experience. This team partners with business leaders, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Environmental teams, landlords, and service providers to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective workplace environments.
You will report to the Senior Manager Facilities & Operations.
This is a Full-Time role.
What You Will Do:
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to facilities team members, fostering a culture focused on safety, customer service, operational excellence, and professional development
Lead strategic planning, daily operations, and maintenance activities for West Coast facilities while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Manage facility operations and occupancy-related expenses while balancing service levels, operational effectiveness, and cost management objectives
Execute corporate facilities strategies and operational priorities in alignment with business and leadership goals
Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding operational performance, risks, opportunities, and key initiatives
Oversee space planning and workplace initiatives that support organizational growth, employee experience, and evolving business needs
Develop workplace solutions including office layouts, furniture systems, storage programs, fleet assets, and operational infrastructure improvements
Manage capital improvement, renovation, tenant improvement, and construction projects from planning through project completion
Partner with Environmental teams and business stakeholders to maintain environmental compliance and support sustainability initiatives
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while overseeing vendor relationships, procurement activities, and facility asset management programs
Lead, mentor, and develop facilities staff, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of progressive experience in facilities management or a related field
Experience managing multi-site or multi-unit operations
Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, coaching, and developing team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including dispute resolution and stakeholder management
Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience managing facility maintenance, workplace operations, and construction or renovation projects
Knowledge of facility operations, safety requirements, environmental compliance, and workplace standards
Ability to manage budgets, monitor costs, and support financial planning activities
Strong relationship-building skills with vendors, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience leading tenant improvement, workplace modernization, and space planning projects
Experience managing operating and capital budgets in a corporate facilities environment
Knowledge of furniture systems, workplace technology deployment, and occupancy planning strategies
Experience partnering with Environmental, Safety, and Strategic Sourcing functions
Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance programs
Experience supporting operations within large corporate, entertainment, or creative environments
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required

The hiring range for this position in California is $105,100 - $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
