Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:

This position presents an exciting opportunity to work within Walt Disney Television (WDT) Production Audit. Our team is responsible for auditing television production costs incurred by third party production companies.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from June 2025-January 2026.

What You Will Do:

As a Production Audit Intern, you will…

  • Execute fieldwork through performing audit testing by reconciling, reviewing and analyzing payroll and production costs on aspects of the Network Television business 

  • Reconcile information from 3rd party vendors, including file setup, research, spreadsheets and reporting information in Excel 

  • Communicate findings with internal and external business partners regarding audit results 

  • Review contracts and supporting documentation provided by Production Companies

  • Participate in special projects within the production audit department to gain additional exposure outside of immediate department 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 

  • Sophisticated Excel experience (v-lookups/pivot tables/filters)

  • Possess strong partnering skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General accounting and business process knowledge related to financial statements, revenue recognition, account reconciliation, amortization, etc.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and familiarity with Adobe

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Audit, Finance. Accounting, Economics, Business or another related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 

    • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information:

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full timehours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
