About the Role & Team


Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming
businesses within the Disney Entertainment segment, helping to bring The Walt
Disney Company’s (TWDC) best-in-class storytelling to fans and families
everywhere.
The Business Operations function is tasked with critical areas of operating the
growing Disney Direct-to-Consumer organization, including strategic solution
design, planning/ program management and execution of major business initiatives,
effective communication and reporting across the organization, business
intelligence and decision support, and implementing procedures and processes to
help Disney grow, operate and run the company’s streaming services efficiently and
at scale.


What You Will Do
The Partner Operations team executes global direct-to-consumer promotional offers
through external partnerships, synergy efforts, and internal campaigns that support
the growth and profitability of TWDC's DTC streaming services (Disney+, Hulu,
ESPN+, and the Disney Bundle). They oversee the end-to-end process of launching
partnerships and synergy offers, ensuring all intake and operational requirements
for launch readiness are met.
Reporting to the Manager of Partner Operations, the Promotional and Partner
Operations Associate Manager will collaborate on end-to-end management of
promotions and promotional partnerships by assuming key operational tasks,
including but not limited to copy and creative assets management, ticketing
engineering requirements, legal approval requests and supporting the maintenance
of source-of-truth briefs for internal and external campaigns and tracker for all
campaign in execution.


Responsibilities

  • Independently manage partnership campaign projects, leading operational
  • meetings and executing tasks to ensure launch readiness while mitigating
  • risks.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to key internal stakeholders, including
  • Marketing, Marketing Operations, Commerce Operations, Product, Customer
  • Service, and Legal, to advance key initiatives.
  • Develop runbooks and process documents for Partner Operations to offer
  • guidance to internal and external partners on redemption-based
  • partnerships.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on new promotional offer types and
  • capabilities, including promotions on Hulu, Disney+, bundled services, and
  • various retail and in-app purchase promotions.
  • Plan and project manage promotional initiatives, including resource planning,
  • project planning, progress tracking, and milestone documentation.
  • Implement and document business processes focused on operational
  • efficiency and global scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with team standard operating procedures, maintain
  • accurate documentation to minimize operational risks, and implement
  • additional launch readiness measures for partnerships and key offers
  • initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional teams in Canada, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to
  • support local launches of partnerships and promotional initiatives.
  • Work across international teams to support the global partnership pipeline and establish global prioritization.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, account management, project
  • management, or a similar field.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, especially Google Slides.
  • Skilled in creating professional visualizations of data and processes.
  • Capable of working across time zones with a focus on global scalability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for fostering strong relationships.
  • Adept at navigating matrixed organizations and global partner networks.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments supporting new products and
  • businesses.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the digital subscription or entertainment industries is a plus.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Atlassian JIRA,
  • Smartsheet, and Asana is a plus.


Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.


The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $78,200 to $104,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
