The Sales Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving daily store operations, merchandising execution, and team performance. This team ensures alignment with brand standards, supports sales performance, and fosters a collaborative, guest-focused environment.

You will report to the Assistant Manager - Mickey's of Glendale Store.

This is a Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) to lead daily retail operations and ensure exceptional guest service delivery

  • Engage with guests to create meaningful experiences aligned with Disney storytelling and brand standards

  • Motivate and support Sales Associates to achieve daily sales goals and performance metrics

  • Support service recovery by addressing guest concerns with professionalism and care

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and operational standards

  • Assist with inventory management including merchandising, stock levels, replenishment, and cycle counts

  • Support merchandising execution including floor sets, product placement, and maintaining visual standards

  • Represent the brand at off-campus shopping events, conventions, and Cast activities

  • Support loss prevention and ensure compliance with company safety and operational policies

  • Provide coaching, onboarding, and feedback to team members to support development and engagement

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or guest service

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and team members

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Ability to support store operations including inventory tracking, merchandising, and guest interactions

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and special events

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work on ladders as required

  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company standards

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with merchandising systems such as SIMBA or POS systems

  • Experience supporting retail events or multi-channel sales environments

  • Visual merchandising experience

  • Experience working within The Walt Disney Company or similar brand-driven environments

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Retail, Business, or related field required

The pay rate for this role in Glendale, CA is $29.00 to $29.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
