What You Will Do

The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading a team of audit professionals in performing operations, financial, and technology audits in the areas of assessing internal controls, identifying business and IT risks, and partnering with leadership to improve operational effectiveness and compliance. The position schedules and plans audits, manages fieldwork execution, communicates results to senior management, and needs to have the ability to influence stakeholders across a dynamic and matrixed organization. Senior Managers are typically assigned responsibility for one or more business units and act as the primary contact to these business units. Specifically, this position will be responsible for auditing Segment functional and technical areas, especially with respect to system pre/post implementations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years of progressive experience, including 2+ years of leadership experience, in auditing/ accounting
  • Practical hands-on management experience working with the internal audit function of a reputable public company is highly desired
  • Possesses executive presence, excellent communication skills both oral and written (must be able to tailor their communication style as the candidate will interface with employees of all levels)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced technical understanding of IT processes - including applications and infrastructure, security and vulnerability assessments, third party management, change control, asset management, disaster recovery, data privacy, and IT risk assessment, automated control environments, cybersecurity best practices, Cloud security controls etc.
  • Advanced understanding of system implementation lifecycle methodologies and controls 
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to position oneself as a strategic partner to assist audit stakeholders in meeting company objectives
  • Excellent team player, who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and take ownership of their projects and workflow
  • Able to work in a flexible team environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and the ability to communicate in all directions and instill purpose and confidence
  • Ability to leverage complex stakeholder relationships to obtain consensus and drive successful completion of projects, with understanding that success is based on influence rather than direct authority and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big 4 audit experience preferred
  • Previous experience auditing information technology and security
  • Experience with auditing complex global security and compliance function
  • Broad IT knowledge in Cloud infrastructure technologies, data platforms, application development and support, and emerging technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of operational, compliance, privacy and IT auditing techniques
  • SAP

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree - Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Auditing, or Accounting
  • CISSP, CISA, CIA, or CPA or equivalent experience required

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $168,200.00 to $205,400.00per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
