Disney Digital Entertainment is looking for a uniquely talented Senior Producer to join us on an ambitious and exciting new project. This role will report to VP of Production, Product and Development

What You Will Do

  • Lead the end-to-end production of several interactive games and experiences based on Disney’s robust portfolio of characters and worlds including Disney/Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, problem solver, and principal collaborator within Disney, providing crucial direction and steering the development across multiple IP groups
  • Engage with internal and external partners, including other Production leaders, to plan, coordinate, and track development across the entire experience
  • Review all production assets including content designs and roadmaps, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets, ensuring that they are well-structured and realistic, and serve the overall project.
  • Foster the production vision for the project within Disney, working with various internal partners to coordinate bringing our content to life within the game.
  • Provide recommendation and insights to key stakeholders regarding the experience, production of the interactive games, and Disney Intellectual Properties
  • Drive the completion of goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across the team.
  • Continuously improve and refine production practices over time.
  • Rally a diverse set of versatile teams to achieve their best, while having lots of fun along the way!

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7 years of experience specifically in product development/production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment.
  • 3 years of experience with managed teams.
  • Shipping multiple mobile, console, and/or PC games with live operations components.
  • Possess a broad and deep understanding of the art and science of high-quality game development, including familiarity with various methodologies, tools, and how to structure production to support a team’s strengths and workflow.
  • Excel at partnering and collaborating with key collaborators - building positive relationships, working through challenging problems, and reaching consensus to achieve great things.
  • Owned the creation and release of a successful AAA live-operated game in a Senior production role and have familiarity with producing products on various gaming platforms.
  • Demonstrate outstanding development knowledge and judgment; experience guiding a compelling vision to reality.
  • Inspire passion and creativity in others with motivational and supportive leadership.
  • Enjoy creative problem-solving, working through unique development challenges, and building something new and innovative.
  • Value and respect the work of every developer and know how to bring various development disciplines together to create amazing experiences.
  • Can synthesize sophisticated development streams into crisp visualizations that provide clarity on status, progress, and future plans.
  • Value building an inclusive and positive team culture and enjoy mentoring and growing other production leads.
  • Know how to push past perceived boundaries and limitations, never losing site of the big picture and ultimate goal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $130,600 to $201,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and /or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, finance, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
