Disney Games a division of Disney Experience is one of the world's largest licensors of games across platforms. Our games teams work closely with external development studios to create original stories through high-quality games inspired by the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios.
The Sr. Manager of Strategy for the Disney Games Group is a key member of the business—a visionary analyst and innovative strategist who seamlessly blends rigorous analysis with captivating storytelling to foster collaboration and drive impactful results. This role will help shape business decisions for Disney Games by contributing to the delivery of actionable recommendations that address key challenges and drive transformative outcomes.
Collaborating closely with the VP, Head of Strategy & Business Operations, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for identifying and assessing opportunities for growth and improvement for the Disney Games Group. This includes collaborating with senior leadership to create reliable forecasts to inform strategic planning & decision-making, applying analytical skills to identify & evaluate opportunities, and profiling the overall market and competitive environment for games. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Gaming industry, be able to translate findings into actionable insights and present compelling recommendations to key decision-makers, contributing to a culture of innovation and collaboration across diverse teams.
This is a Full-Time role.
The Sr. Manager will report to the VP, Strategy & Business Operations
What You Will Do
Forecasts: leverage advanced analytical methods to anticipate future trends in market dynamics, customer behavior, and sales performance to develop and maintain forecast models. Collaborate with teams to present forecast outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives
Market Analysis: conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis, translating findings into actionable insights and articulating the rationale and potential impact through compelling presentations to key decision-makers. Manage market intelligence tools to support the collection and dissemination of competitive information
Opportunity Identification: collaborate with senior leadership to identify and evaluate new growth opportunities and areas for improvement across the greater Disney Games Group portfolio. Tap into market trends and adjacent industries for future-focused analysis
Innovative Solution Creation: continuously refine forecasting methodologies based on new data, market changes, and emerging trends. Contribute to a culture of innovation by developing creative solutions to address complex business challenges.
Teamwork and Collaboration: build strong relationships to gather insights and feedback. Actively engage in discussions to align on objectives and share knowledge to enhance collective insights and drive informed decision-marketing
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, preferably in strategic planning, management consulting, market intelligence, or a related field. Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives that drive business growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Extensive knowledge of advanced Excel features, PowerPoint, or other visual presentation programs and reporting tools
Excellent communication & presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $151,200 to $202,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
