D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr Producer D23 Events  to oversee the successful execution of approximately 100+ in-person and virtual member events (including events for the D23 Gold Theater) per year across the United States and internationally for D23 Members. This role will also be responsible for managing the D23 Fan Club presence and Member activations at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

This role will be responsible for managing all event project timelines; collaborating with and being the key D23 Team point of contact for event producers and third-party agencies; developing event budgets; and ensuring all D23 Events meet creative and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the D23 Creative and Programming & D23 Member Operations teams to align on event objectives and on-sale strategy, target demographics, and creative direction, ensuring a seamless and impactful event experience.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Project Management:
    • Develop and manage detailed project timelines for all events.
    • Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and execution.
    • Work with on-sale team and ticketing vendor to ensure smooth ticket on-sale launch for all events.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Act as the main liaison between event producers, event agencies, and internal stakeholders.
    • Partner with the Marketing, Creative, and Programming team to understand event goals, target audiences, and creative vision.
    • Facilitate regular production meetings to align teams and provide progress updates.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create, monitor, and manage event budgets and P&L statements.
    • Track expenditures and reconcile budgets post-event to ensure profitability.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Event Execution:
    • In collaboration with the event producer, oversee on-site production to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues in real-time.
    • Ensure all events meet Disney safety standards, compliance regulations, and quality expectations.
  • Post-Event Analysis:
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
    • Analyze event performance metrics and provide recommendations for future events.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event production, project management, event production finance or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Previous experience working with events at The Walt Disney Company
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Budget management expertise, including creating and reconciling budgets and P&Ls.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with event production tools and software.
  • Knowledge of event safety protocols and compliance regulations.
  • Understanding of creative and production workflows.
  • Familiar with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, and deep knowledge of Disney's history, brands, processes and culture.
  • Able to work a flexible event schedule (which may include travel), including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with event production tools and software.
  • Knowledge of event safety protocols and compliance regulations.
  • Understanding of creative and production workflows.
  • Familiar with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, and deep knowledge of Disney's history, brands, processes and culture.
  • Able to work a flexible event schedule (which may include travel), including nights and weekends as needed.


The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $117,900 to $138,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
