About the Role & Team

The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the Resort Operations finance team and the leadership team at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort they support. The desired candidate will be able to develop strong, professional relationships with operations leaders and clients to understand, support, and help manage financial and business goals. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a member of the resort’s steering committee and will provide points of view on subjects and issues impacting the resort and the resort lines of business. They will have daily contact with resort leaders, including the General Manager, providing business decision support.

This position requires an individual who can work independently, is highly motivated, a self-starter, strong communicator, and an excellent partner. This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance / Accounting professional to apply their expertise in a unique, meaningful, and rewarding role!

This role will sit at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina.

What You Will Do

  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to each LOB in Resort Operations to support business decisions

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business while providing proactive and objective financial analysis that will inform and influence decision making

  • Develop strong, effective working relationships with Operations

  • Involvement in Ad Hoc projects that support the organization and Walt Disney World resort operations

  • Provide critical inputs that inform the Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasts

  • Identify opportunities and drive work forward bringing awareness to leaders within the resort, finance, and/or partners

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of financial analysis, financial management or business development experience

  • Proven ability to influence decisions where authority may not be hierarchical

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to develop and understand complicated financial analyses

  • Leadership ability and credibility with peers and management

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience building and giving presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
