About the Role & Team
The Growth Director will oversee the commercial performance of TWDC’s DTC business in Türkiye with immediate focus on the growth and profitability of Disney+ in the market, including the development of wholesale partnerships (in close collaboration with Platform Distribution).
The role will define and track the overall plan for Türkiye to achieve Disney+ growth targets and will support meeting these targets by partnering closely with and leveraging the dedicated DTC resources in each functional team. The role will act as the key player across all relevant functions, ensuring a One Disney approach, driving cross-functional alignment, and translating the overall company strategy into an integrated local growth plan.The Director will define and continuously improve the local growth strategy by understanding local opportunities and threats, defining plans that are joined up across teams, and updating these plans based on the most recent performance and local insights.
In particular, the DTC Growth Director will be accountable for Subscriber acquisition, engagement and retention, net subscriber growth, revenue and profit targets, as per the Long Range and Annual Operating Plans, while ensuring all initiatives are aligned with broader business priorities and executed through strong collaboration across the organization.
In respect to D+ wholesale partnerships, the DTC Growth Director will report to Platform Distribution on the identification of new opportunities and developing the commercial framework that will ultimately lead to deal making, as well as on the continuous management of the relationship with partners, while ensuring overall TWDC internal alignment with revenue and sales divisions, driving a unified 'One Company' perspective across TWDC’s multi-asset portfolio and synchronizing closely with the sales team to deliver seamless senior client management.
This is a highly strategic role that has direct and substantial impact on the overall success of Disney+ in Türkiye.
This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home.

What You Will Do
Specifically, this role will:
Commercial planning
Lead on all planning activities, including LRP, AOP, quarterly planning, in-quarter performance by gathering insights and inputs from all the DTC functional leads
Lead on performance tracking and take an end to end view from brand metrics to net growth and P&L performance, ensuring key opportunities or performance issues are spotted early
Drive cross-functional planning and decision-making across all DTC functions, ensuring commercial priorities, customer initiatives and business objectives remain fully aligned under a One Disney approach.
DTC subscriber acquisition
Lead the DTC subscriber acquisition strategy and operations for Disney+ in Türkiye leading the planning and execution of digital performance marketing campaigns across all channels.
Deliver subscriber acquisition targets through the most effective channel mix and cost per acquisition (CPA) – optimising across volume and quality of acquired subscribers.
Optimise performance through detailed data analysis and implementing an ongoing test and learn programme.
Work closely with the regional/global performance marketing teams in London and NYC to optimise performance channels and ensure analytics and campaign tracking are in place, while maintaining full alignment and close collaboration with internal Digital Media, Finance, Marketing, Analytics and all other relevant functional teams to ensure an integrated commercial approach and delivery against overall Disney+ business objectives.
Customer engagement and retention
Lead all customer lifecycle engagement strategies and activities, across on-boarding, early life, at risk and win back.
Oversee all customer engagement communications across email, push notifications, in-app pop-ups, and user interface tactics.
Work closely with the global product team in London and NYC to develop clear roadmap, engagement ‘toolkit’, and test programme to optimise customer engagement metrics.
Work closely with the DTC EMEA Engagement team to track performance KPIs for our platform and define the right strategy to improve them.
Partner closely with internal Digital Media, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Product and other functional teams to ensure customer engagement initiatives are fully aligned with broader commercial priorities and delivered through a coordinated One Disney approach.
Deliver overall ‘churn’ targets, including save rates and win back metrics.
Partnership Growth (dual reporting to Platform Distribution team)
New partnership opportunities: identify potential partners and develop partnership strategy to deliver incremental subs and revenues
Execution of partnership deals: in coordination with Platform Distribution, negotiate commercial terms for D+ distribution deals (aligned with guidelines set by regional PD team), execute agreements, including coordinating with legal, marketing and product teams for the onboarding of new partners
Act as a strategic partner to the Sales team by maintaining constant alignment during all client and partner engagements. Provide proactive updates before and after every key meeting to ensure consistent communication and unified action across the organization, always synchronizing partnership initiatives with the broader organizational “big picture” goals and overall Disney+ commercial objectives.
Partner relationship management: point of contact for managing communications, addressing concerns and identifying new opportunities for collaboration and maximizing D+ exposure within partner’s base. Set the direction for the full lifecycle for partner-acquired customers, delivering initiatives and creating frameworks that increase sign-ups, drive higher activation, improve content discovery, boost engagement, and extend lifetime value.
Planning and performance: ownership over trading submissions and deadlines, ensuring overall consistency between wholesale and DTC businesses
Cross functional coordination: collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, content, sales, legal, product, finance to ensure that all partnerships are aligned with broader goals
Sales Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to the Sales team by maintaining constant alignment during all client and partner engagements. Provide proactive updates before and after every key meeting to ensure consistent communication and unified action across the organization, always synchronizing partnership initiatives with the broader organizational “big picture” goals and overall Disney+ commercial objectives.

Extensive experience in digital commerce, with strong track record in delivering substantial commercial targets and budgets.
