About the Role
The Social Media & Creative Intern role supports the Social Media team in ideating, localizing, and producing engaging visual content for social media channels, and content distribution. They will drive the implementation of social content, and work with agencies to manage content calendars, scheduling, publishing of content.
This role requires a strong grasp of social media platforms with strong visual sense, including layout, typography, and color. The candidate should be knowledgeable in industry trends and the latest innovations. They should also be experienced in different content formats, aspect ratios, and content styles on social media and how to leverage these formats creatively and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Support the social media team in ideating, localizing, and producing engaging visual content for social media channels, and content distribution
- Understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and content styles. Ability to edit videos with good pacing, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion elements. Strong visual sense, including layout, typography, and colour.
- Edit short form and long-form videos for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
- Design static and motion graphics for social media posts, stories, thumbnails, and basic campaign assets.
- Localize global content by adapting visuals, copy placement, and cultural nuances for local audiences.
- Contribute ideas for social media content, trends, and formats that are relevant to local markets.
- Support day to day content production needs, including resizing, reformatting, and versioning assets.
- Ensure all outputs follow brand guidelines and platform best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine content based on feedback and performance insights.
Internship Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
- Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026

Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Art/Design, Film, Media, Marketing, or any related fields
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and content styles.
- Ability to edit videos with good pacing, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion elements.
- Strong visual sense, including layout, typography, and color.
- Awareness of current social media trends and digital content styles.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
- Proficient and fluent in English and be a fan of movies and series entertainment.
- Knowledge in The Walt Disney Company content library, brands, franchises, and characters that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement
- Strong collaborator with experience working with local, regional and global teams
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in an extremely fast-paced and high-pressure working environment.
