The primary purpose of this role is to execute social media community management and content distribution with the Disney Entertainment brand. They will drive the implementation of social content, and work with agencies to manage content calendars, scheduling, publishing of content. This role requires a strong grasp of social media platforms, and the candidate should be knowledgeable in industry trends and the latest innovations. They should also be experienced in different content formats on social media and how to leverage these formats creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to distribute social contents
  • Manage always on social media assets
  • Liaise with global for asset sourcing and content approvals
  • Manage agency to manage social communities

Internship requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still pursuing undergraduate studies and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between Jul to Dec 2024

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
  • Candidates should be fluent in English and be a fan of movies and series entertainment
  • Knowledge in The Walt Disney Company content library, brands, franchises, and characters that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement
  • Strong collaborator with experience working with local, regional and global teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in an extremely fast-paced and high-pressure working environment
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Results-oriented
  • Proficient in computer systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
