About the Role & Program

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the division of Disney Experiences that brings beloved brands and franchises into the daily lives of families and fans through products – from toys to t-shirts, apps, books, console games, and more – and experiences that can be found around the world, including on the Disney Store e-commerce platform and at Disney Parks, local and international retailers, as well as Disney Store locations globally.

Ever wondered how a product idea turns into a must-have item inside a Disney park—and how data helps make it happen? Then, this internship is for you! As the Retail Strategy and Integration Intern, you’ll help shape the big-picture strategies behind cross-category programs that span both Softlines and Hardlines. In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life for seasonal moments and U.S. Disney Parks–exclusive brands, activations, and attractions. This internship blends creative thinking with financial strategy, giving you hands-on experience building smart, impactful solutions that show up in real guest experiences.

This exciting internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2026 to January 2027.

What You Will Do

  • Create cross-category product strategies that support seasonal assortments and park-specific activations

  • Analyze financial performance and consumer trends to build quarterly insights for Walt Disney World and Disneyland programs

  • Develop long-term strategies across iconic park experiences (Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and more) to drive growth, relevance, and freshness

  • Ensure strategies come to life at every step of the product development journey—from concept and design to in-store execution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners through creative brainstorming, ideation, and financial analysis to bring strategies forward

  • Manage and maintain key business tools, including product set calendars and weekly business reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Genuine interest in retail and merchandise strategy; prior retail experience is a plus

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data to inform decisions

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

  • A creative, analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems in new ways

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Merchandising, Business, Finance, Retail Management, or a related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization  

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - January 2027

  • Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship

  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

The pay rate for this role in the Orlando, Florida area is $22.50 per hour.
