Overview:
The Senior Claims Representative provides prompt, professional liability claims support for Walt Disney World Resort guests while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the Disney brand. This role conducts onsite investigations, assesses liability exposure, and resolves claims with guests and attorneys. It also includes presenting to groups, training Resort leaders, and actively supporting department initiatives. Periodic on-call responsibilities are required, including occasional after-hours responses.
This is a full time, salaried exempt position based in Kissimmee, FL and reports directly to the Manager, Guest Claims. This person will sit onsite Mon-Thurs and have the ability to work remotely on Fridays. There will be no relocation assistance available for this role.
You Will:
Conduct onsite investigations and evaluate liability exposure.
Manage and resolve claims involving guests and attorneys, including negotiation and settlement.
Deliver presentations and training to Resort leaders; contribute to department goals and initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and manage confidential information with discretion.
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including after-hours incident response as needed.
You Will Have:
3+ years of liability claims experience (e.g., bodily injury, property damage, auto, discrimination, ADA, subrogation).
Active Florida 520 or 620 All-Lines Adjuster License.
Strong background in property and casualty insurance and claims handling.
Proficiency in investigations, liability assessment, and negotiation.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with automated claims systems; proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation, writing, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of liability claims experience.
Bilingual skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
