The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) Marketing Partnerships, Corporate Alliances, and Card Services (MPCAS) is responsible for forging innovative and inspirational marketing partnerships around the world to drive incremental profitability to TWDC through unique and diverse value streams across the enterprise.
The Card Services team is responsible for creating and cultivating B2B and B2C relationships with key financial services partners globally.
The Card Services Manager is responsible for helping manage the global Visa relationship as well as working with Disney regional lines of business to implement in-market consumer and merchant/banking programs to deliver on contractual requirements and ensure a consistent brand approach across financial products, partners, and regions.
This role will be based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and report to the Sr. Manager, Card Services.
Responsibilities:
The Card Services Manager is responsible for:
Managing the global Disney x Visa relationship (especially the recently signed Alliance in Europe) which requires:
collaboration with various Disney Lines of Business to develop promotions/campaigns, in multiple countries
alignment with key support teams (e.g., legal, finance)
measurement of Disney/Visa promotions with Visa bank and merchant partners
development of the annual multi-Lines of Business regional consumer campaign in partnership with Visa’s creative agency and the MPACS creative team
Partnering with the US co-branded cards team to develop Visa marketing programs that complement the co-branded card relationship and deliver on unique Visa brand campaigns with other Visa merchant/bank partners
Reviewing Card Services creative materials submitted by various markets to ensure compliance with Disney Financial Services and Brand guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of marketing, promotions, and sponsorship experience
3+ years of project management experience
Proven experience in marketing/promotions development and relationship management
Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company’s brand, products/services, and guest experience
Experience developing consumer and/or trade marketing strategy, execution, and financial analysis
Ability to function successfully within a team environment and to build consensus within Corporate Alliances, Business Units, and alliance partners
Ability to influence multiple teams and projects simultaneously with no direct authority
Adept at building, maintaining, and fostering relationships across the organization at all levels
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a persuasive and collaborative style
Self-motivated individual with advanced project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Demonstrated strong abilities in prioritization and multi-tasking
Experience working with creative teams to ensure the creative execution delivers on identified business objectives
An advanced knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (potentially internationally)
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial Services knowledge
Experience working with international teams
Proficiency with Keynote preferred
Masters in Business Administration or Masters degree in related field
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
