The Global Integrated Facilities Planning (Global IFP) team is responsible for supporting the development of multi-year asset re-investment strategies and plans for our Disney Parks & Resorts sites worldwide!

The Database Analyst is responsible for analyzing data from domestic and international Disney Parks sites to identify significant insights and trends, and for developing reports and dashboards to communicate those insights to partners around the globe.

Global IFP is under Global Engineering & Technology (GE&T) within the Worldwide Safety, Health, Engineering and Sourcing (WHSES) organization.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform detailed analyses using sound statistical techniques
  • Translate large data sets into actionable insights and story-telling presentations.
  • Analyze trends, patterns and irregularities in key metrics.
  • Develop and produce reports, dashboards and presentations, delivering products on time and at the highest standard of quality
  • Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling, both in oral presentations and via written reports
  • Work collaboratively with teammates, partners and leaders to accomplish team goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ of data analyst or related work experience
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use hard data and metrics to form assumptions and develop cases.
  • Must have a strong passion for their work with very high standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action with a willingness to take personal initiative.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach and natural curiosity
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with IBM Tririga
  • Experience presenting and contributing to data stories that are shared with key business partners
  • Previous Disney Theme Parks and Resorts experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field is preferred
