A Sr Software Engineers in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. You will report to Team Lead, Attractions Operational Technology, DataOps.

This is a full-time role.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop or update several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages used by interal Disney partners.

  • Capture software design requirements from our internal Disney partners.

  • Support the developed software when issues arise.

  • Create documentations for the developed software.

  • Explain technical solutions in simple terms for our partners and executives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of VB.Net & C# with .NET Framework version 4.8 and higher.

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns.

  • Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab.

  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.

  • Basic Experience with Docker commands.

  • 2+ years experience in relational databases like SQL server and, MSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service NOW.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technology, such as Docker.

  • Experience with OPC DA and UA.

  • Fundamental Networking experience.

  • Knowledge of Web API.

  • Experience with Programmable Logic controller (PLC).

  • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence.

  • Experience with Linux operating system.

  • Experience with Agile development methods.

  • Experience with automated testing.

  • Experience with Grafan.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.

  • Preferred: Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
