About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant at Walt Disney World Resort, you will play a pivotal role in supporting executives and contributing to the seamless operation of the organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and works independently with moderate supervision. You will be part of a team that helps protect and strengthen Walt Disney World’s reputation and relationships by building trust with the community, stakeholders and media.
Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks for executives, ensuring smooth operations and fostering collaboration across teams. This role requires a detail-oriented, service-minded individual who can anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of the leaders you support and the broader Walt Disney World public affairs organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Proactively manage complex executive calendars, coordinate meetings, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Maintain an active calendar that ensures the timely registration of recurring certifications and educational courses, registration in annual membership organizations and the submittal of time-sensitive documents to legal
Prepare agendas, executive-level presentations, memos, and reports.
Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
Handle invoices, purchase orders, ticket processing, inventory/amenity management and office administration tasks.
Event support and administrative support tasks to coordinate planning and execution of events with media and internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate on projects by conducting research, writing, and fact-checking.
Act as the primary contact for incoming communication, ensuring professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft 360, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clean grammar and robust vocabulary.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and manage competing demands.
Demonstrated organizational and follow-through skills, with attention to detail.
Experience handling confidential information with reliability and discretion.
Enthusiastic, service-minded attitude with a strong work ethic.
Administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting multiple executives.
Knowledge of The Walt Disney Company culture, structure, and operating practices.
Proficiency in SAP (Concur, Field Representative, Employee ESS, Casual Buyer, etc.).
Bachelor's Degree
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $51,500.00 to $51,500.00 per year based on a 40- hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
