About the Role & Program

The Walt Disney World Hotels & Resorts Line of Business team provides expertise and consultative support to partners to improve the Guest experience across our Walt Disney World hotel portfolio. Our Strategic Planning & Insights team supports the development of mid- to long-term strategies focused on the future hotel experience by using Guest and operational insights, external industry research, and subject matter expertise!

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

What You Will Do

Our intern will work as a member of our team supporting projects currently in flight! Responsibilities may include:

  • Assessing and evaluating new business initiatives and concepts to provide decision-making support to business unit Senior Executives.

  • Conducting a variety of business assessments using internal data, robust industry trends and research; synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Proactively supervising hotel topics and trends by sourcing and reading industry publications.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to work independently through self-motivation and resourcefulness.

  • A highly organized nature and fastidious attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written skills with an emphasis on business writing.

  • Strategic problem solving & analytical skills with the capability to act tactically.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • A student studying in their senior year or a recent graduate within 6 months of their graduation date is eligible to apply.

  • A major in Hospitality, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Research or related major is preferred.

Required Materials

  • Candidates must submit a one-page professional summary on a current trend in hospitality as part of their application.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.

  • Able to provide own housing in the Orlando, FL area.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
