As the Operations Manager- Distribution Services, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and energizing our warehouse and distribution center operations. You'll inspire, coach, and empower a dedicated team of Teamster Union hourly Cast Members, guiding them to reach their full potential while fostering a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager- Distribution Services

This is a Full-Time role

What You Will Do

  • Lead and supervise more than 20 Direct Reports: Safety, Regulatory, 5S, Specific Job Functions.

  • Follow operating guidelines, safety rules, and union contract requirements.

  • Track team and individual performance.

  • Work with internal leaders to complete daily tasks.

  • Daily operation checklists.

  • Payroll Processed Daily.

  • Inspecting daily operations and monitoring Cast performance through observations.

  • Independently manage warehouse operations as the on-site salaried leader for Distribution Services, addressing challenges and coordinating with leadership and business partners to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience in warehousing and distribution.

  • Expertise in optimizing warehouse management systems to enhance efficiency and boost productivity.

  • Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and leading.

  • Proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments by expertly prioritizing tasks, coordinating multiple projects, and consistently meeting tight deadlines through exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Expert in harnessing computer technology for innovative solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

  • Proven ability to tackle and resolve conflicts with swift, effective strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.

  • Strong computer proficiency.

  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Skilled in budgeting and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Showed excellent understanding of business principles.

  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish a plus).

  • Proven background in managing within a unionized workplace.

  • Exceptional abilities in customer service.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects successfully and drive results.

  • Demonstrated expertise in 5S and KAIZEN methodologies.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Master’s degree-  Preferred.

Additional Information

  • The position is fully on-site.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $83,000 to $111,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
