The Photographer provides Photography for Conventions and Events across the property. Photographers must have a basic knowledge of digital photography equipment, flash units, and Photoshop and Lightroom. You will report to the Photography Manager for Disney Fine Arts Photography.
This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
You Will
- Set up and photograph on-location studio sessions
- Oversee "print on site" sessions
- Photograph large group photos up to 300 people and process for editing final group and individual images
- Arrange photography risers and determine appropriate locations
- Handle a green screen shoot, matte in a background, along with a virtual background shoot
- Photograph character interactions
- Work with Senior Photographers to create a rounded view during events
- Photograph large weddings as a Second Shooter
- Provide creative and unique images
- Photograph small weddings individually as the main contact
- Shoot portrait sessions
- Photograph product and promotional images in a studio setting
You Have
- An understanding of photography production in a business environment
- Experience with Nikon cameras, Professional lighting equipment, and Mac Computers
- An understanding of how to light for a larger photo, e.g., 500 people, and individual or small group posing
- Determine when and how to use a second light unit as a fill flash or essential light
- Knowledge of Photoshop/Lightroom software, composition, and exposure Triangle
- Experience with photography, weddings, or conventions
- Schedule availability to include weekends, variable shifts, and holidays

High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
A bachelor's (4-year) degree in Photography
