The Integrated Facilities Planning (IFP) team develops, maintains, and refines the integrated multi-year asset reinvestment strategies and plan for Walt Disney World(WDW). This includes the development of the near term plan for approval and implementation. The team focuses on the sustainment and life cycle optimization of existing assets with long term, multi-year planning and represents the lifecycle perspective in new development.
The Program Planning Manager, as a representative of WDW IFP team, facilitates the development and presentation of the strategies and plan that sustains the integrity, show, and safety of the existing WDW assets.
The Program Planning Manager will use their industry experience to be a strategic partner for their clients within Facility Operation Services(FOS) and the broader WDW organization to help develop the planned program and asset strategies. You will also work with leaders to develop business strategies, goals, and metrics for the IFP team.
FOS includes engineering, maintenance, utilities, manufacturing, construction, distribution services, safety, and project management organizations for Walt Disney World. Since you will have property-wide responsibility, you will need a high level of comfort working with partners across the FOS organization, finance and WDW as a whole.
You will report to Manager of Program Development
What You Will Do
- Manage development and sustainment of a significant portion of the planned program that sustains the integrity, show, and safety of the existing WDW assets with multiple team members and partners.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop and evaluate asset strategies (life cycle analysis) and related impacts to our plans.
- Perform statistical analysis and prepare presentations for executives and other leaders.
- Work with the leaders to develop business strategies, goals, and metrics for the IFP team.
- Lead fellow team members.
- Proficiently use the available software applications for IFP development and program analysis.
- Work independently while exercising partnership, collaboration and facilitation skills with multiple partners across the organization.
- Identify and understand project related impacts on all lines of business (e.g., Operations, FOS).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years experience in the construction industry or similar industries.
- 6+ years experience working with project and program partners and team members.
- Experience in long-range facility asset planning and project management.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of construction and maintenance work and methods.
- Experience with Data Analytics and Financial Reporting in construction or similar industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau, Watson or other data analytics/visualization software.
- Experience with PowerBI.
- Experience with Tririga, Maximo, or other facility planning software.
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
