You will be a part of a manufacturing team that schedules production orders at Central Shops located at The Walt Disney World Resort. Central Shops' is a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing and maintenance facility supporting worldwide operations. You will schedule projects from manufacturing a specific part to the entire refurbishment of a roller coaster train. You will produce daily schedules, project schedules, and potential project delivery date estimates in this role. You will partner with other members of the manufacturing team, such as Production Centers, Quality Assurance, Client Service Managers, Engineers, Estimators, and Procurement, to ensure the schedule is reflective of attainable deliveries and identify projects in crisis to avoid any late deliveries.
You will report to the Sr Manager, Manufacturing and Production Services.
This is a Full-Time role.
What You Will Do
Work with the Planning Software (Maximo) and Scheduling Software (Primavera) to input new production orders and resource schedules for the different teams across Central Shops. Daily, you will run the production schedule for each production area.
You will work with the Production Areas to ensure the resource capacities are representative of the scheduled capacities and avoid any variances.
Evaluate developed schedules to identify schedule challenges and project delivery date deficiencies.
You will work with Planners and the Production Areas to determine the best sequence of operations to have all the vital predecessors completed for any final assembly.
Maintain accurate scheduling data and an inquisitiveness to explain data-driven results.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience with Manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of computer programs, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
Understanding of how to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story and recommendation.
Comfort with understanding and conveying written and verbal data and analysis to partners at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of assembly, machining, welding, fiberglass, paint, and repair processes Experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in a manufacturing, maintenance or processing environment.
Basic knowledge of scheduling principles and scheduling software.
Proficiency in Maximo and SAP.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $83,000 to $111,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
