What You Will Do

As the Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will provide internal and external client support as part of the Web Development Support Team. Working with the Manager, Financial Systems.

This role develops web applications for internal tooling by Disney with a focus on data management, reporting, and visualization. As part of development they will assist in active backend development, code reviews, and database needs.

During the development and sustainment cycles, this role must also partner with QA partners and resolve ticketed issues via Gitlab and Confluence documentation.

We have segmented responsibilities for organizational change, in which this role will assume approval steps for database changes and disaster recovery, and review of security updates.

This team member will also share responsibilities in deployment release schedules and AWS management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years experience with web application development
  • Proven background in PHP
  • MySQL relational database architecture
  • Custom sophisticated SQL
  • Git source control
  • Linux, Ubuntu Debian, etc
  • AWS Cloud Tools
  • HTML & CSS
  • Good communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • PHP Laravel
  • Gitlab CI deployment
  • Alteryx or other ETL tooling
  • Tableau Desktop
  • Data transformation & normalization
  • OAuth / SSO / SimpleSAMLPHP
  • JavaScript experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience


The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $111,900.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
