As an important member of a team of engineers and designers, you will provide professional consulting services in the design, diagnostics and asset management of low voltage systems in the theme parks and resorts. Your work will involve support to the entire Walt Disney World (WDW) property including on-stage and off-stage locations.
You will report to the manager of Project Design Support, Facilities Asset Management.
What You Will Do
You have experience with the following low voltage systems types from the perspective of design, technical support during installation, including test and adjust, final acceptance, and secondary sustaining support behind WDW maintenance/first responders:
- Collaborate with the project management and field teams in the selection of design resources for low-voltage scopes of work.
- Support main Teams concerning governance of CCTV/Access Control systems.
- Participate in design reviews for a wide array of projects.
- Collaborate with capital projects and corporate partners for commissioning of CCTV/Access Control projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in the design and commissioning of Closed Circuit TV systems
- Demonstrated ability in the commissioning and administration of Genetec Security Center systems
- Familiar with basic computer networking concepts such as IP addressing, Ethernet protocols, and video streaming.
- Experience with physical access control systems and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with fiber optic communication systems (such as those that use direct digitization techniques) is a large plus.
Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum.
- Florida Professional Engineers License, or ability to acquire one.
